MARCHING TUESDAYS!!

Hi Guides!! 

if you remember, at the end of term two, we mentioned something about introducing guides sessions on Tuesday to focus on marching! I am incredibly glad to inform all of you that it has been approved by the teachers and will begin in the first week of term 3 with the first session on the 2nd of July, Tuesday. 

• Please report at 3.15 at the track in your patrol like how you would for colours but leave your bags in the amphitheatre.

• Although we will not be doing colours, you all still have to report on time otherwise, you will be booked for being late unless you have a valid reason.

• The session will be from 3.15 to 5.30pm

• Please report in your PE Attire. It is your own decision whether you want to wear a skirt or not but if you're not wearing your skirt ONLY SCHOOL SHORTS ARE ALLOWED. 

• This guides session is complusary and if you are unable to make it, please sms Rachel Chua by Friday, 28 June with your VALID reason. Please reschedule your tuitions and what not as those are not considered valid. if you are sick, an mc will be required.

Wood?

Hey guides!

I realized that the term "wood" is kind of un-understandable to many of us, so basically it means your usual Punk and Kindling,  together with thicker wood branches and even thicker wood branches. So just collect dried leaves and dried twigs of varying sizes and also those super thick wood branches. If still unclear, its just

1. Dried leaves
2. Twigs of different sizes like those you collect for firelighting
3. Thick and even thicker wood branches

okay that's all! hope your doubts are clarified! :D

June Camp Groupings!

Hey guides! Here are the groupings for June Camp! If you couldn't already tell, the theme is musicals! We really hope you get to know everybody in your group well and that all of you bond to your level mates as well as those not in your level. 

As for the leaders, we really hope you use this opportunity to show your leadership potential!!

If you guys were not clear, Reporting time is at 8am on the 10th. Please come punctually as we will be having colours. Colours will be in your regular patrols. We will break camp at around noon on the 12th!

We expect you all to be punctual and to in the proper attire and attitude on monday! Failure to be punctual or to be in proper attire will result in booking. We will not take this lightly.

Also, remember to get a good nights sleep on Sunday so that we'll all be cheery, happy and alive!:)

If you are sick on the day, please inform your group leader BEFORE 8am. An MC will be required. Any other reason is invalid.
