Reflections of campfire :MANDI

Hey,it's me again, MANDI.

It's time for a more serious and solemn note. After saturday's campfire, I went home and thought about everything which happen within these 4 years in guides. Everything seems to be passing so fast, i remembered i used to hate going for guides and always finding excuses to pon. However, in sec 2, after moving into a funner and 'more alive' patrol, i started to find guides more eggciting. I then became a Pl followed by ACL, those were very difficult roles to be in, but it taught me alot like writing proposals, proposals and more proposals. Sometimes, i really feel that im kinda of a redundant ACL, im not really a good leader to lead a company. Im proud to say that im just a avid supporter from the back, just like supporting my favourite kpop group. Im really proud of the leaders of 2009/2010, they really made campfire 2010 a huge success, without them, i dont think it would be carried out so amazingly. Most importantly, i would like the thank the CLS,my fellow ACLS and the guiders for making my guiding life so memorable and unforgettable.

love, mandi.

New recruits, for enrollment, please memorise what a good turn is, why we shake with our left hand, the guide motto, guide laws (2-3) and guide promise. You will be asked a few simple questions by the guiders. Remember to pass me your cord and trefoil if you haven't already done so. Please also brush up on your marching as you will be expected to march to the front of the horseshoe. (We will be going through this tomorrow, Wed recess). PLs please take note of your recruits full name and know what you are expected to do.

Gosh I sound serious.

Haha thanks everyone!

Hmm I have more pictures which I will upload onto flickr soon! But currently I can't do it because we have exceeded our monthly upload limit (or we are close to it...) so yeap!

Hey all :)

All those in the marching contingent for Sports Day, please take note.

There will be a Full Dress Rehearsal on Tuesday, the 13th of April, from 2.30PM to 4.30PM. All marchers will have to assemble at the bus bay by 2PM in full uniform, with hair and scarf already tied. As for the Guides uniform, do remember to bring your beret, all your badges, and your belt! (And obviously, your uniform). Everyone will tie 2 braids, and only black hair accessories are allowed.

There will also be a training session on Monday, 12 April from 3PM to 4.30PM. All to attend, as this training session is quite important. If you are unable to make it please inform Stephanie of 3SY by Monday break time.
