3.Yeoman Service At Funtasia Carnival‏

Event Day Assistance
Date: Saturday, 26 April 2008
Time: 2pm - 8pm
Venue: Chinese Garden Confucius Court
Task:
1) Funtasia Santas - Man and assist to distribute goody bag
2) Funtasia Guides - Ushering, Guide guests to the performances areas and answer queries on site (will be briefed on the details and FAQs will be provided)
3) Funtasia Floor Managers - Crowd control and man lost-and-found station
4) Funtasia Singers - Gather people to the lake and join us in the hand holding and sing-along session (lyrics will be provided
4. PATROL LEADERS’ TRAINING (1) 2008
Target Group:
Guides who are identified or appointed as Patrol Seconds and Patrol Leaders.
Objectives:
To develop effective leadership and communication skills to run the patrol and assist the guider to run the company
To understand the roles and responsibilities of the PL and PS
To share ideas, knowledge and synergize with other Patrol Leaders
To understand and implement the Guide Law, 5-point programme, badge work and test work
Course requirement:
100% attendance
Dates: 2 – 4 June 2008 (30 places )
Venue: Guide House, Bishan St. 14
Training Fees : $100
5. June holiday camp @ School (4 - 6 Jun)

6. CAMP TRAINING FOR GUIDES
Target Group: Enrolled Guides (Sec. 2 – 4)
Objectives:
To equip Guides with the basic skills and knowledge required to plan, organize and conduct patrol camps.
Course requirement: 100% attendance
Duration : 11 – 14 June 2008 (60 places)
Venue: Camp Christine
Training Fees :$120 per guide
