WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Read up on Rules of Health in handbook --> do a short summary and include 20 most important things to do to stay healthy
- Start health record (in your handbook)
- "Sandwich-making" (in actual fact, make belief. haha sry lame) --> 1. Come up with a halal sandwich and give it a name. 2. Draw a sample of it: make sure it's exactly how your sandwich would look like if you really made it, plus the deco and garnishings. Label everything in your diagram. 3. Do up a nutrition table on the ingredients used. 4. Do a costing sheet. Roughly gauge the cost of items like bread, spreads, etc.)

Updates for all recruits:
Sadly, only the following groups have successfully passed Road Safety and Care of Public Property - 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. But, congrats to these groups! Please remind me to let the guiders sign your handbooks after you all have been enrolled.
Groups 2 and 7 (and Elina & Rebecca): Please read up on road safety and care of public property again in the handbook, and ask your seniors in your patrol to test you. The senior who tests you must have got her silver at least, and she must have passed these two clauses already. If you can't find any senior to test you, you can ask me. :P
Ahh.. Btw, there will be no more competitions for you all,
so heeeeerrreeee are the RESULTS!
*drum roll*

6th: Group 4
5th: Group 1
4th: Group 6
3rd: Group 7
2nd: Group 3
And tying for first place are...
Group 2 and group 5!
AHA! But, we will be assessing your EMERGENCY CARDS which you will be submitting THIS FRIDAY.. and the individual points awarded to each person will be totalled up and added to your group score. So do a good job! (Groups 2 and 5 this is your tie breaker!)
Elina and Rebecca please ask your classmates for instructions on how to do the emergency call card and submit it on Friday as well. Please also read up on whistle and hand signals. We won't test you on that SO we TRUST YOU to go read up properly ok? [Hmm. We might test you. IF we have extra time... *evil grin*]

P.S. we'll be collecting your notebooks and emergency call cards this Friday ;) remember ah!
