Important

Attention all Guides

This is regarding the proficiency badges that we were all supposed to do and have handed up on 29/8,Thursday. We are feeling quite disappointed in the number of guides (21 people) who have not handed in their profis despite the one whole month we were given to complete it. We know that we can be quite busy with our schoolwork and extra curriculum, and that is why we extended the dateline to give us all enough time to complete our profis without feeling too stressed out. Unfortunately, one third of of our guides still have not handed in their profis.

We assign all of us profis to complete, as they contribute to our NYAA points, but more importantly, are good learning activities and are personal achievements we hope you can feel proud about. We really hope for profis to be something we all can actually enjoy doing once in awhile, and not something you do grudgingly only because the leaders assign you to complete them.

Also, this is something we do as part of guides, and it is quite saddening to see that some of us participate in activities that contribute to guides only because the leaders chase you to do so. Scolding or chasing after you is something we do not enjoy doing, so we hope all of us can try to improve on this.

Guides is our CCA and we hope that we can learn to really prioritise guides more and put in more effort in doing our part to contribute to our CCA.

As such, by this THURSDAY 5/9, we hope to see every single one of our profis submitted to us.  If you have any problems with that, be it stress or otherwise, please talk to the CLs and ACLs, and let us know. Please do not disappoint us again Guides.

Thank you.
